Thee Ain Heritage Village is located in Al Makhwah, in the Tihamah sector of Al Baha Region, on top of a white rocky mountain with rugged terrain and surrounded by mountains from all sides. It is about 25 km from Al Baha city and is considered one of the most important heritage villages in the Arabian Peninsula. Built in the 10th century AH, the village takes its name from a natural spring flowing through the surrounding mountains.
The village consists of more than 30 interconnected houses built in a traditional style using volcanic stone, while interiors were constructed with clay and mud. It also includes a small mosque and appears from the outside like a single fortress. The village is known for its fruit cultivation, basil plants, and traditional handicrafts.
