Our first stop will be at Christuskirche, Windhoek Namibia, which is Windhoek's most recognizable landmark. Take a look inside (if it's open) and learn about this uniquely designed church in the centre of the city.

We will spend approximately 15 minutes.

After visiting the church, our next stop is Parliament Gardens, named for its proximity to Parliament House. Here, we learn all about Namibia's rich history and the people that fought for Namibia's independence.

We will spend approximately 15 minutes, and we will pass by the National Museum of Namibia.

Here we get to know about Namibia's founding father, Dr. Sam Nujoma and the struggle for Namibia's Independence as well as where we are currently, some 30 years post independence.

We will pass by: Alte Feste where further information on the history of Namibia including the role of the Germans and South Africans pre independence.

From Windhoek city, we head into the Katutura Township to experience how more than 50% of Windhoek residents live. Katutura itself is a huge area made up of different suburbs across all socio-economic levels. We will spend close to 1 hour.

Our last stop will be: Oshetu Community Market, where we will explore the local market and try some local delicacies from Kapana (BBQ meat) to Mopane worms, to mealie pap and more. We will spend around 30 minutes at the market.
