Your day begins with a departure from Pointe-Noire, heading towards the Mayombe Massif after a roughly two-hour drive through villages and the lush, verdant landscapes typical of southern Congo. Along the way, your first stop will take you to Lac Vert, a remarkable natural site located in a former granite quarry. Its waters, with their unique hues, make it a peaceful and photogenic spot.

The tour continues to Kinanga, the starting point for the journey to the Ndinga-Ndinga Waterfall. A roughly ten-minute walk through the tropical rainforest will take you to this waterfall, nestled in a verdant setting. Once there, you can enjoy a moment of relaxation in the heart of nature, lulled by the sounds of the forest. Those who feel comfortable can swim in the natural pool.

Your exploration then continues on to the Makola Salt Glacier, a rare natural formation that has been used by local communities for generations. A short climb will take you to a vantage point offering a remarkable panoramic view of the Mayombe massif.
