Shanghai offers a transit‑visa‑free policy, allowing foreign visitors to enjoy a short layover sightseeing experience in Shanghai.
Your private guide and driver will hold a name‑sign with your name and wait for you at the airport exit. We will monitor your flight number and keep track of its actual arrival time. We will meet you after you collect all your luggage.
Note: It takes approximately 1.5 hours from the moment your international flight lands at Shanghai Pudong Airport until you meet our representative. This covers the full procedures below:
Flight landing
Border inspection and quarantine
Baggage claim (this step takes less time for layover passengers)
Customs clearance
Exit the airport terminal and meet our team
Our staff will assist you with your luggage and escort you to the parking lot to board your vehicle. Your guided sightseeing tour will then start as per your booked itinerary.
You may opt for either a daytime or evening private guided tour covering Shanghai’s key highlights: Shanghai Tower, Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund, Former French Concession and Zhujiajiao Water Town. You can also taste local specialties including Shanghai soup dumplings and pan‑fried shengjian buns.
At the end of your tour, you will be transferred back to the airport.
