Know Before You Go: - No previous kayaking experience is required.
Know Before You Go: - Participants should have a moderate level of fitness and be comfortable paddling for up to 1.5 hours at a time and walking approximately 7 km over uneven volcanic terrain.
Know Before You Go: - Minimum age is 14 years.
Know Before You Go: - Wear shorts or quick-drying clothing for kayaking, sturdy walking shoes, and bring a sun hat, sunscreen and a reusable water bottle.
Know Before You Go: - Bring a warm layer for the paddle back after sunset, as temperatures can cool quickly.
Know Before You Go: - All kayaking and safety equipment is provided, including spray jackets where required.
Know Before You Go: - Waterproof dry bags are provided for personal belongings.
Know Before You Go: - A freshly prepared Kiwi BBQ dinner is included, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available on request.
Know Before You Go: - Tours operate in most weather conditions but may be rescheduled or cancelled if conditions are unsafe.
