Salinas Grandes Tour via Purmamarca｜Argentina

This excursion will delight you with the variety and contrast of the landscapes you'll visit. You'll leave Salta on Route 9 to the town of Purmamarca, where, after a technical stop, you'll start climbing the Cuesta de Lipan. After 25 km, you'll reach the majestic Salinas Grandes, where you'll meet the salt workers and learn about their craft. On the way back, you'll get to see the local fauna, including llamas and vicuñas. Once back in Purmamarca, where we'll have lunch, we'll visit Los Colorados, an imposing formation located behind the 7-color hill. After touring the town, we'll head back to Salta through it.
