Your first stop is Lake Louise Ski Resort, Canada’s largest ski area. Whether you’re looking for ski or snowboard lessons or prefer to carve the slopes at your own pace, this resort has something for everyone.
Take in breathtaking views of Victoria Glacier and Lake Louise below, and don’t miss the magical Lake Louise Snow Castle — a stunning ice and snow fortress built each winter, complete with intricate carvings and tunnels. Capture photos, explore its icy corridors, and feel like you’ve stepped into a winter fairytale. Pause for a coffee break at the scenic Whitehorn Bistro, surrounded by alpine vistas.

Next if you booked for Banff Sunshine Village, just a short 20-minute drive away. Known for its deep powder and breathtaking alpine views, Sunshine offers terrain for every skill level—whether you’re a beginner taking your first turns or an experienced skier chasing fresh tracks. Spend your morning carving down the slopes, riding the gondola, and enjoying panoramic views of the Rockies blanketed in snow.

By midday, take a break for lunch at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge, the only ski-in, ski-out hotel in Banff National Park. Warm up with a bowl of hearty bison chili or a mountain-inspired dish while watching skiers glide past. After lunch, continue your skiing adventure, exploring trails like the Standish, Goat’s Eye, or Lookout Mountain depending on your skill level.

As the afternoon winds down, return to Banff town and treat yourself to some relaxation.
