Informations sur le produit

-What you can expect-
Your journey begins at the Arch of Charents, an iconic monument that provides a spectacular viewpoint of the biblical Mt. Ararat.

From there, you'll venture to the Pagan Temple of Garni. This impressive construction is the only standing Hellenistic pagan temple in the Caucasus Region and hails from as far back as the first century AD. Originally built to honour the sun god Mihr (Mithra), it's accompanied by a remarkably well-preserved Roman bathhouse. The Symphony of Stones awaits next, a truly awe-inspiring natural wonder created over millennia by volcanic activity and erosion. It's undoubtedly one of the world's most distinctive natural phenomena.

Finally, your visit concludes at Geghard Monastery or Ayrivank, a crucial architectural, historical, and religious symbol in Armenia. Most of this monastery is ingeniously carved inside a rock, blending architecture from the 4th to 10th centuries of the Armenian Renaissance. Its significance is such that it, alongside the Upper Azat Valley, forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. With this itinerary, you'll witness not only the rich history but also the natural beauty that Armenia has to offer.
