Escape into the lush surroundings of Tropical Spice Garden, an eight-acre botanical garden in Penang dedicated to the world of herbs, spices, and tropical plants. Choose between an admission ticket with a multilingual audio guide or join a guided tour available on selected days for deeper insights into the garden's diverse collection.

Home to more than 500 species from around the globe, the garden combines nature with educational experiences. Stroll through beautifully landscaped trails while discovering the importance of herbs and spices in culture, cuisine, and wellness. You can also take part in engaging activities such as cooking classes, workshops, and natural soap-making.

  • Know in advance:Your ticket is only valid for the selected date

  • Open Monday–Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday–Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

  • Guided tours are available on Saturdays and Sundays at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 1:30 PM, and are conducted in English

  • The audio guide is available in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Japanese, German, French, and Arabic

  • Late arrivals may forfeit their scheduled tour or be moved to a later session

  • High heels are not recommended due to uneven terrain and uphill sections within the garden
