■Important Information ・Please bring the driver's licenses of all drivers. ・When returning the vehicle, please return it with a full tank of fuel. *Our staff will check the fuel gauge upon return. If the fuel tank is not full, you will be charged an additional fee for the amount of fuel missing. ・Since the operation method is different from a regular car, you must receive a pre-rental lecture. ・We will send you the driver's operation manual, rental terms and conditions, and consent form in advance, so please be sure to check them. ・For safe operation, we regretfully cannot allow anyone who has obtained their license within the last three months to drive the vehicle. ■ About International Driving Permits ￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣ If you hold a foreign driver's license, you will need an "International Driving Permit" to drive in Japan. You must possess one of the following licenses: ① A regular domestic driver's license (for residents of Japan) ② An International Driving Permit (issued in accordance with the Geneva Convention by a signatory country to the Geneva Convention) ③ A foreign driver's license (Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, Taiwan) + a Japanese translation ④ A U.S. Forces Japan Personal Vehicle Operation Permit (SOFA) + U.S. military ID You will need to present your International Driving Permit from a signatory country to the Geneva Convention (1949) and your passport simultaneously. The International Driving Permit is valid for one year from the date of issue (be sure to check the date of issue), and the validity period for driving in Japan is one year from the date of entry (confirmed by the stamp on your passport indicating the date of entry into Japan). However, if a person recorded in the Japanese Basic Resident Register re-enters Japan within three months of leaving the country, the date of re-entry will not be considered the "date of landing (starting date for calculating the validity period for driving in Japan)." * Driving with an International Driving Permit in the format of the Paris Convention (1926), the Washington Convention (1943), or the Vienna Convention (1968) is not permitted in Japan. * However, an International Driving Permit issued in Japan cannot be used to drive in Japan.
