Recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994, this landmark has been a witness to pivotal moments in Spanish history. This medieval palace, commissioned by King Alfonso XI of Castile, served as a primary residence for Isabella I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon. With knowledgeable historians as your guides, you'll embark on an hour-long exploration of this imposing structure, uncovering historical events and intriguing tales from the past.

The Alcázar has worn many hats: it was home to the Catholic Kings for over eight years, served as the headquarters of the Inquisition, housed Napoleon Bonaparte's troops, and even functioned as a prison. During your visit, you'll also have the chance to stroll through the renowned gardens where Christopher Columbus first met the Christian Kings and prepared his first trip to the Americas.
