Basque cuisine cooking class

-What you can expect-
Immerse yourself in a 2-hour 45-minute gastronomic experience in San Sebastian, where you go from diner to cook: a hands-on cooking master class in one of the “secret kitchens” in the Old Town, led by an expert chef and with translation provided if needed.

You’ll learn key Basque cooking techniques by preparing four iconic dishes: creamy Spanish tortilla, perfectly emulsified cod al pil-pil, stuffed piquillo peppers, and the emblematic Basque cheesecake. The experience concludes with enjoying the dishes you’ve prepared, paired with a red wine from La Rioja, a Txakoli, and a traditional cider.

You'll work in a small group of up to 8 people, allowing you to perfect your cutting techniques, cooking times, and sauces, and take home recipes you can recreate, along with professional tips and advice on local products.
