This itinerary will take you deep into the fishing port culture of Kesennuma, where you can witness the dreamy natural phenomenon known as 'Kearashi' (sea smoke) in the early morning and visit the fish market to learn about the unloading and bidding processes of seafood. Additionally, you will visit Iwaizaki to see the unique terrain of the Sanriku Coast and head to the Minamisanriku 311 Memorial Park to learn about the reconstruction process following the Great East Japan Earthquake.     Naruko Gorge is one of the most iconic autumn foliage spots in the Tohoku region. The valley, reaching depths of 100 meters, is covered in beech, maple, and zelkova forests. Every autumn, the mountains are painted in a tapestry of red and yellow, creating a magnificent landscape. The view from the observation deck, where the valley meets the railway bridge, is a classic photo spot that is a must-visit for many photography enthusiasts.
  • Kameyama Observation Deck
    Located at the highest point of Oshima Island in Kesennuma, the Kameyama Observation Deck is the best place to enjoy views of the Sanriku Coast and Kesennuma Bay.   • This tour requires a minimum of 6 participants. If the number of participants on the same departure date is less than 6, the tour will not proceed and the order will not be confirmed. You will be notified of whether the tour will proceed no later than 14 days before departure.
  • The tour price includes round-trip transportation, staff services, entrance fees to attractions (sightseeing facilities, etc.), and meals, but excludes lunch on the second day. Lunch on the second day is at your own expense; please arrange your own lunch on-site.
  • This tour has a flat rate regardless of age; the unit displayed in the system represents the number of participants. Travelers aged 2 and above must register at this rate.
  • The weather at outdoor attractions is changeable, so it is recommended to bring rain gear and a windproof, warm jacket.
  • The itinerary may be subject to change due to inclement weather conditions. No refunds will be given in the event of changes, but the trip will proceed as scheduled.
  • The arrangement of private vehicles will be adjusted according to the number of participants, and may be buses or large taxis.
