Begin in Aix-en-Provence, where you’ll meet your guide and board a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. Explore Gordes, one of France’s most beautiful villages, wandering its cobbled streets and soaking in the timeless scenery. Continue to Senanque Abbey, set in serene surroundings, and visit the lavender fields in bloom during July, learning about monastic life and local olive and lavender cultivation.

Enjoy a Provençal lunch at a village restaurant of your choice before heading to Lourmarin, a village with Renaissance and 19th-century architecture, inspiring artists and writers for centuries, and home to the castle featured in Peter Mayle’s novels.

From Monday to Saturday, your day also includes a visit to a local olive oil mill in the Luberon area. There, you discover the different stages of olive oil production, from the grove to the press, and learn how traditional methods meet modern techniques.

On Sundays, instead of the olive oil mill, your experience includes a stop at the Musée du Calisson at Confiserie du Roy René, on the outskirts of Aix-en-Provence. In this gourmet museum, you follow an immersive journey through almond orchards, nougat and Calisson d’Aix production, and historic confectionery tools, with exhibits that blend tradition and modern multimedia.
