Odoriko
- The Odoriko connects the Tokyo metropolitan area with the Izu Peninsula. The Ito formation travels from Atami Station toward Ito, Kawazu, and Izukyu-Shimoda, while the Shuzenji formation travels toward Mishima and Shuzenji.
- The E257 series began operations with refurbished carriages in 2021, offering improved ride comfort, a quieter cabin, and fully equipped barrier-free facilities.
- The exterior features a 'Peninsula Blue' color scheme inspired by the 'sky' and 'sea' of Izu, allowing you to enjoy your journey to Izu in a comfortable space.

SAPHIR Odoriko
- The SAPHIR Odoriko is a luxury sightseeing limited express train launched by JR East, designed with inspiration from the sea and sky of Izu.
- All seats are Green Car (first-class) grade. Passengers can enjoy the PREMIUM GREEN class, introduced for the first time by JR East, or savor specialty dishes at the onboard open-kitchen restaurant for a premium and elegant Izu travel experience.
- 'SAPHIR' is French for 'sapphire.' This elegant name is derived from the sparkling blue Izu seascape, reflecting the hope of providing passengers with a sophisticated and intellectual journey.

What is the difference between the Odoriko and the SAPHIR Odoriko?
- Odoriko: Focused on convenient and comfortable travel, suitable for general sightseeing and independent travelers.
- SAPHIR Odoriko: Positioned as a luxury sightseeing train, offering more spacious seating, better panoramic views, and a more unique onboard experience.
- Both trains offer direct access from Tokyo and Shinjuku to the Izu region, allowing you to reach popular destinations like Atami, Ito, and Izukyu-Shimoda without the need for transfers.
- If you prefer a more budget-friendly way to travel to Izu, choose the Odoriko; if you want the train journey itself to be part of your travel experience, the SAPHIR Odoriko is recommended.

- This product is valid only on the day of travel. It is not applicable if you disembark during the journey, exit the station, or use it on the following day.
- Trains departing from Shinjuku Station do not pass through Tokyo Station. Trains heading towards Shuzenji will separate at Atami Station, with some carriages going to Shuzenji Station and the rest going to Izukyu Shimoda Station.
Rappels
After receiving a ticket from the ticket machine, you will only receive one "ride ticket". This is normal and does not mean you have received fewer tickets.
The express ticket and reserved seat information will be displayed on the KKday voucher and will not be printed separately as a paper ticket.
When boarding and having your ticket checked, please present both your paper ticket and the seat information on your KKday voucher.
To cancel your tickets, please contact KKday customer service to confirm whether cancellation is possible and the applicable cancellation fees.
