 Overview of Mt. Fuji Climbing - Yoshida Trail
The Yoshida Trail is the most popular and beginner-friendly choice among the four main trails of Mt. Fuji. It starts at the Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station (approx. 2,305 meters above sea level) and ends at the summit's Kusushi Shrine (3,776 meters).
Beginner-friendly with complete facilities: The Yoshida Trail has the most mountain huts and supply stations, with facilities spaced approximately every 1 to 1.5 hours, and 24-hour first-aid stations (at the 7th and 8th stations).
Climbing Route: [Fuji Yoshida Trail] 5th Station → 8th Station Mountain Hut [Hakuun-so] → Stay Overnight → Early Morning Departure → Summit → Descent → 5th Station

  • About Climbing Mount Fuji * Mount Fuji is the highest peak in Japan, at 3,776 meters. Without proper pacing, reaching the summit may be difficult and could even lead to altitude sickness or other discomfort. Climbing season is very crowded; please be sure to follow all regulations, follow your guide's instructions, and be courteous to other climbers for safety.
