Product Info

Join a licensed guide for the weekly Papal Audience with Pope Leo XIV in St. Peter's Square — one of Rome's most moving public occasions, where the Pope greets pilgrims and visitors, leads prayers, and delivers his catechesis.

The General Audience is a free public event, and we take care of the details so you can focus on the experience. We arrange your audience reservation in advance, meet you as a group near the Vatican, and guide you into St. Peter's Square through the standard security checks. Throughout the morning your guide provides live commentary through headsets, explaining the order of the ceremony, the history of the Swiss Guard, the significance of the papal blessing, and what to expect as the Pope arrives and circulates among the crowd.

Seating in the square is open and unallocated, so your guide will help you find a good vantage point and make the most of the time before the audience begins. You'll receive the papal blessing along with everyone present, and you're welcome to bring religious items such as rosaries for the occasion.

Good to know: The audience takes place on Wednesday mornings when the Pope is in Rome. In winter or poor weather it may be held in the Paul VI Audience Hall rather than the square. The event involves standing and time in crowds and is not suitable for wheelchair users. A modest dress code is required — shoulders and knees covered for everyone. This experience does not include access to the Vatican Museums or St. Peter's Basilica, and transport to the meeting point is not provided.
