Pompeii Scavi Group Tour: Wine and Cheese Tasting and Lunch｜Italy

Your adventure begins early in the morning. You will make your way to the meeting point in Pompeii (Bar Sgambati), located 10 meters from the Villa dei Misteri Circumvesuviana train station and 100 meters from the Porta Marina Superiore entrance to the archaeological site. There, one of our representatives will be waiting for you, holding a sign that reads “Topexcursionsorrento” and the additional text “POMPEII RUINS.”

Your first stop is the archaeological site of Pompeii, one of the most fascinating and best-preserved destinations from the ancient world. You will be welcomed by a licensed private tour guide, who will take you on a tour lasting approximately 2 hours. With a guide included in the tour, you will have the opportunity to explore Pompeii's main points of interest, including the Forum, the thermal baths, the House of the Faun, and the Lupanar (brothel). Your guide will share an engaging narrative rich in historical details, allowing you to relive the daily life of the Ancient Romans.

After your cultural visit to Pompeii, our driver will take you to a renowned local winery for a wine and cheese tasting, as well as lunch featuring a cured meat and cheese appetizer. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the winery's sommeliers, who will guide you through a unique sensory experience.

During the tasting, you will enjoy a selection of fine local wines, paired with artisanal cheeses from the region. Each tasting will be accompanied by detailed explanations of the production processes and the organoleptic characteristics of the products. This experience will allow you to immerse yourself in the authentic flavors of Campania, discovering the local food and wine traditions.

At the end of the tasting, our driver will comfortably take you back to the original meeting point in Pompeii. The return trip will take about 30 minutes, during which you can fully relax and reflect on the experience you have just enjoyed.
