Ready to dive in the Underwater Park of Baia?
You can choose between the following options:

• Discover Scuba Diving (first-time divers)
No diving certification is required. This option is perfect if you want to experience scuba diving for the first time in complete safety, accompanied by a personal PADI instructor.
You will receive an email or a message with instructions to create a PADI account. There will be some forms to fill out, among which there is the one determining the need or not for a medical clearance. Feel free to reach out if you would like to find out in advance if you will need a medical certificate or not.
After the forms you will find the short eLearning that will have to be completed before our meeting in Baia.
This usually takes only 10/15 minutes, but we highly recommend checking emails and doing it as soon as possible, in order to be able to solve any problems that may arise!

• Certified Divers Dive
Already have a scuba certification? Choose this option and explore the underwater archaeological wonders of Baia with a guided dive designed for certified divers.

The Underwater Archaeological Park of Baia is one of the most unique diving locations in the world: an ancient Roman city that slowly sank due to volcanic activity and is now preserved underwater at around 4–5 meters depth.

Before entering the water, your instructor will provide a briefing about the dive site (and about the basic theory of diving if it’s your first time), the equipment, and the safety procedures.
All necessary equipment can be provided: you only need to bring your swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes.

Once ready, we will take a short boat ride to the archaeological area, where you will discover ancient mosaics, statues, marble floors, and the remains of luxurious Roman villas that once belonged to emperors and aristocrats.

The dive lasts approximately 45 minutes. Our instructors will always stay close to you, providing constant support to ensure a safe, comfortable, and unforgettable experience!

After the dive, we will return to the Diving Center, where you can use our changing rooms and hot showers.

For Discover Scuba Diving participants, the instructor will provide a certificate confirming your first dive experience, which can count as the first dive of the PADI Open Water Diver course.

  • Know Before You Go: In some cases, based on the answers provided, a medical certificate may be required before participating. If a medical evaluation cannot be completed before the scheduled activity date, the booking will be refunded according to the cancellation policy

  • Know Before You Go: The Underwater Archaeological Park of Baia has several different underwater routes. We visit only one route per dive (each route lasts approximately one hour). If you have a specific preference regarding what you would like to see, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request
