Gear up in AR glasses and enjoy a unique, innovative, and immersive augmented reality tour of the archaeological site of Pompeii. Step into a different time and see what Pompeii was like before it fell to ruins through the power of AR.

Meet your tour assistant and learn about the itinerary and how to easily use your AR glasses. Your tour assistant will accompany and assist you during the tour. All itineraries and reconstructions have been developed by a team of archaeologists and experts to show how life in Pompeii was before the eruption.

Watch as your AR glasses create holograms that overlap the existing ruins, showing how the most significant temples, houses, squares, theaters, and buildings were before the eruption of 79 A.D. (augmented reality) compared to now (reality).

This immersive experience is perfect for groups of friends, couples, solo travelers, and especially families who wish to step back in time and discover the fascinating daily life of Pompeii before the eruption, through an innovative journey that blends history, emotion and technology.

  • Know Before You Go: Our tour assistant will welcome you, provide you with the necessary tour equipment, and accompany you throughout the entire tour

  • Know Before You Go: Children under 8 years old can access the park with a standard ticket, but they cannot use the 3D technology

  • Know Before You Go: Those who book an EU Citizen (age 18-24) or Youth fare must show a valid identity document or passport at the ticket office or pay the full fare.

  • Know Before You Go: This activity will run rain or shine.

  • Know Before You Go: AR glasses can also be worn by participants who already wear eyeglasses.

  • Know Before You Go: If you're running late, we'll wait for a maximum of 5 minutes. After that, the tour will start out of respect for the other participants.
