  • Learn how to make beautiful flower-shaped sushi rolls from Yuki, a professional sushi roll maker! Yuki learned her skills at a sushi school and has been teaching lessons to many local Japanese people and tourists from overseas since 2018. Her work has attracted attention from local media, and she has been interviewed and appeared in newspapers, on radio, and on television. She also learned the basics of Japanese cuisine from a chef who once served meals to Emperor Showa. In 2024, when Sapporo City and Portland, Oregon, USA, held a celebration in Sapporo to commemorate the 65th anniversary of their sister city relationship, Yuki gave a sushi roll demonstration to the mayors of both cities and the visiting delegation, which was greatly appreciated.
