Product Info

Explore the ancient ruins of Delphi, the picturesque mountain resort of Arachova, and the site of the Battle of Thermopylae. Then, visit the monasteries of Meteora on a 2-day private tour from Athens.

Depart from Athens and head to Delphi. Visit the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo and the Temple of Apollo. Explore the Treasuries of the Siphnians and the Athenians, a theatre, and a stadium.
Visit the museum, which houses the famous Delphic Charioteer and the statue of Antinous, the lover of Hadrian. Continue to the picturesque mountain resort of Arachova. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views, or have a coffee at one of the many charming cafés.
Next, visit the site and museum of Leonidas’ 300 Spartans stand against the mighty army of the Xerxes of Persia - Thermopylae, or the “Hot Gates”.
Finally, reach Meteora, where you will stay overnight. You will have an Sunset and enjoy dinner and the view of the monasteries that you will visit the next day.

DAY 2:
Visit at least two monasteries (or more, time permitting), two of which are guided with a professional guide, before having a meal and returning to Athens late in the afternoon.
