National Museum of Nature and Science

The National Museum of Nature and Science (NUS Science Museum), founded in 1877, boasts over 140 years of history and is one of Japan's oldest museums. It is a comprehensive national science museum focusing on natural history and the history of science and technology. The museum is characterized by its rich collection of artifacts and clear themes, with different floors and exhibition areas designed to make the stories of science and nature easily understandable for both adults and children.

The museum is mainly divided into two exhibition areas: the "Japan Pavilion" and the "Global Gallery". The Japan Pavilion focuses on the natural and human history of the Japanese archipelago, and features important exhibits such as Japan's largest collection of ammonites; the Global Gallery displays highlights such as large animal specimens, lunar rocks and dinosaur fossils, among which the complete skeletal fossils of Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops are particularly popular, allowing you to understand the evolution of life and changes in the Earth's environment from a global perspective.
