At the Sancheoneo experience event, you can enjoy ice fishing, lure fishing, and bare-handed fishing. Ice fishing, where you break through ice over 40 centimeters thick to catch Sancheoneo, is even more exciting as the whole family can enjoy it together. You can taste the Sancheoneo you caught at the grilling station or the sashimi center.

You can enjoy exciting winter activities at the snow and ice experience zone. Various activities on snow and ice are prepared, such as ice sledding, snow sledding, bobsleigh, and ice tunnels. You can also play soccer on the ice, ride the snow train, and go ice skating. With family sleds, the whole family can ride together.

You can see massive ice structures and sculptures at the Asian Ice Sculpture Plaza. The ice sculptures illuminated by lights show off their splendid beauty. You can walk through ice tunnels and slide down ice slides to enjoy both the crystal-clear ice sculptures and the lights that color them at the same time.

The Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival offers various experiential programs including ice fishing, lure fishing, bare-handed fishing, as well as snow sledding, ice sledding zones, and elaborate snow sculptures.
When darkness falls, the quiet garden wakes up one by one as it illuminates with lights. Do not miss the shining winter at The Garden of Morning Calm, where brightly sparkling lights create a fantastic atmosphere.

Service Hours: Monday to Sunday, 08:00 to 22:00. Night service after 22:00.
If you use it during non-service hours, a fee of 30,000 won per hour will be charged.
Surcharge after 24 hours: 100,000 won.
Overtime fee: 30,000 won per hour (9-14 passenger cars: 50,000 won per hour)
Total mileage: An additional fee will be charged if it exceeds 150 kilometers.
Drop-off Location: Any designated location within Seoul is acceptable. (The service time includes the driver's return to Seoul; an additional fee applies if you wish to be dropped off outside of Seoul.)
Additional schedules are added, and additional fees apply depending on the region.
If the temperature is too high for it to freeze due to weather conditions, we may proceed to a different winter festival. Please note that the schedule is subject to change depending on the weather (heavy snowfall) and on-site conditions on the day.
