Product Info
- The special performance 'Kanazawa Geigi Dance' will be held at the Ishikawa Ongakudo Japanese-style room (a 1-minute walk from Kanazawa Station). Kanazawa is famous for its three historic chaya districts—Higashi Chaya, Nishi Chaya, and Kazue-machi Chaya—each with its own charming atmosphere and popularity as a tourist destination. Each district is home to 'Kanazawa Geigi,' who carry on the chaya culture from the feudal era. Since they are usually exclusive to first-time visitors, opportunities to interact with them are rare. However, this special event allows you to enjoy performances of Japanese dance, traditional instruments (shamisen and flute), and ozashiki drums, as well as experience ozashiki games that can usually only be played at chaya houses. This is a chance to easily enjoy the traditional performing arts that Ishikawa and Kanazawa are proud of up close, so please join us if you are interested! ※The venue is a tatami-matted Japanese-style room, allowing you to feel an atmosphere closer to an authentic 'ozashiki.'
