- If you are visiting Kyoto, why not experience a special journey that can only be enjoyed by bicycle? Feel the tranquility and charm of the ancient capital as you explore narrow paths inaccessible by car and enjoy the freedom of moving at your own pace. Starting from the Higashiyama Base, we will cycle along the Kamo River cycling path towards the Lake Biwa Canal. During the cherry blossom season, we will take photos at the Lake Biwa Canal. We will take photos at the Heian Jingu Shrine Otorii Gate, pass under the gate, and head towards the Incline. At the Incline, we will provide an explanation of the Lake Biwa Canal. During the cherry blossom season, you can take photos with the cherry blossoms in the background. At Nanzen-ji Temple, you will enjoy a unique landscape where history and modern construction blend together. For lunch, we will enjoy Nanzen-ji's famous tofu cuisine. In the afternoon, we will cycle through the vast grounds of the Kyoto Imperial Palace and visit historical buildings. A great value plan that includes lunch and bicycle rental.
