The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama is a new viewpoint located on the middle slopes of the Ishiuchi Maruyama ski resort.

This complex area features an observation terrace and dome tents where you can relax in an open space overlooking the Uonuma Plain and the majestic Echigo Sanzan mountains, as well as two cafes.

This plan includes the use of a "dome tent," a private space that combines a sense of oneness with nature with comfort.

Please purchase a separate " facility usage ticket (round-trip gondola ticket) " to access the dome tent.

The dome tent is furnished with tables and chairs, allowing you to enjoy takeout food picked up from the cafe with your family and friends while taking in the scenery.


—Experience Flow—

Please come to Ishiuchi Maruyama Resort Center. Arriving about 60 minutes before your scheduled experience time will ensure a smooth experience.

Upon arrival, please exchange your ticket for a "Gondola Ticket" at the ticket counter and then proceed to The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama, located midway up the slope.

- Upon disembarking from the gondola, you will be able to register for the dome tent on the first floor of the observation terrace and cafe, right in front of the exit.

Takeout menu items that can be enjoyed in the dome tent are sold on the main floor of the cafe on the second floor. If you place your order before entering, you can enjoy the dome tent for the full duration of your visit.

・You can enjoy the observation terrace and cafe even outside of your reserved time.

The gondola can be used with wheelchairs or strollers.

However, there are stairs at the disembarking point, and the area beyond is unpaved.

[For guests bringing pets]

When bringing your pet on the gondola, please purchase a pet ticket on site.

Please use a cage. We also have cages available for rent if you don't have one.

[Regarding service suspensions due to strong winds and lightning]

Due to strong winds or lightning, train services may be suspended as unavoidable.

Tickets used in this case are non-refundable.

[Regarding the date change]

Please contact KKday Customer Service by 6:00 PM the day before your scheduled appointment.

Please note that changes cannot be made on the day of use or after the scheduled date.

• You can change the date up to two times per purchase.

• The changed date of your visit must be within the 2026 green season operating period.

[By car] From Shiozawa Ishiuchi IC on the Kan'etsu Expressway, take Route 17 towards Echigo Yuzawa for about 5 minutes. Turn right at the intersection with the ski resort entrance sign, and you will find the Ishiuchi Maruyama Resort Center parking lot about 300m away. Parking: Free all day during the summer operating period (in front of the resort center) [By train] Take a taxi or bus from JR Echigo Yuzawa Station for about 10 minutes [Shuttle bus] Depending on the season, shuttle buses are scheduled to operate from nearby facilities.
