  Example: If you pick up the car at 13:00 on 10/1 and return it at 13:00 on 10/2, please select one day; if you pick up the car at 11:00 on 10/1 and return it at 19:00 on 10/2, please select two days. 
• Vehicle Models: (The number of luggage items that can be carried varies depending on the number of passengers. The following information is for reference only; please rely on the confirmation from on-site staff.)
  Class C1: 5-seater; models like Vitz; 1-2 large pieces of luggage
  Class C2: 5-seater; models like AQUA; 1-2 large pieces of luggage
  Class C3: 5-seater; models like PRIUS; 1-2 large pieces of luggage
  Class W1: 6-7 seater; models like SIENTA; 1-4 large pieces of luggage
  Class W2: 7-8 seater; models like NOAH; 1-6 large pieces of luggage

• Required Documents: Passport, original domestic driver's license, Japanese translation, and International Driving Permit (issued by an authorized agency in a country signatory to the 1949 Geneva Convention, following the Geneva Convention format).
  ☆ The International Driving Permit is valid for 1 year from the date of issue (please check the issue date), and its validity for driving in Japan is 1 year from the date of entry (please check the entry stamp in your passport). If you use the automated gate for immigration, your passport will not be stamped (proof of entry). An entry stamp is required for car rental (identity verification). Please be sure to request a stamp from the immigration officer after passing through the automated gate.
  For those holding a Japanese Certificate of Residence, the date of re-entry to Japan within 3 months does not count as the start date for driving in Japan. International Driving Permits issued by countries signatory to the Paris Convention (1926), Washington Convention (1943), or Vienna Convention (1968) are not recognized in Japan. Even if issued by a country signatory to the Geneva Convention, an International Driving Permit issued by an unauthorized agency will be considered invalid. If the format of the International Driving Permit differs significantly from the Geneva Convention format, it will be considered invalid.
  ☆ Holders of driver's licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Monaco, Estonia, etc., may drive in Japan for up to one year from the date of entry by presenting their license and a Japanese translation. Please bring both documents and the driver's passport to the rental office.
  ☆ The Japanese translation must be issued by the respective country's embassy or consulate, the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), or JDL (Japan Drivers License). If you hold a Taiwan driver's license, please apply for a translation through JAF or the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association. The validity of a foreign driver's license for driving in Japan is 1 year from the date of entry (please check the entry stamp in your passport) or until the expiration date of the foreign license, whichever is shorter. For those holding a Japanese Certificate of Residence, the date of re-entry to Japan within 3 months does not count as the start date for driving in Japan.
  ☆ Travelers from other countries must hold an International Driving Permit and their own passport to drive in Japan.
  
  
  

- About Insurance -

• Collision Damage Waiver (included in the fee)
• If the vehicle is not returned to the shop while it is still in drivable condition (e.g., left on the roadside), a Non-Operation Charge (NOC) of 100,000 JPY will be charged.
• If costs exceed the insurance coverage limit, you will be responsible for the difference.
• Insurance will not cover the following situations:
  1. Failure to report to the police (no accident report from the police)
  2. Accidents caused by driving without a license, under the influence of drugs, or under the influence of alcohol
  3. Accidents caused by a driver not registered in the rental agreement
  4. Damage or soiling of interior/exterior equipment not caused by a vehicle accident (e.g., smoking in a non-smoking car)
  5. Private settlements made without the consent of the insurance company
  6. Violations of the rental agreement terms
  7. Fines and penalties resulting from violations of local Japanese laws
  8. Accidents occurring after the scheduled rental period has expired
