Namo Buddha being one of the holiest pilgrimage sites of Buddhist holds many historical backgrounds behind its discovery. According to the history this place is a commemorative site of Prince Mahasattya who offered himself to a starving tigress and her baby cub. Being in the altitude of approximately 2500m, this place holds the beauty of nature in its arm. The Himalayan ranges, the forest trail, rough roads and then the recital of the monks as they chant Buddhist mantras is a heavenly bliss. The Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery is another attraction of this site with 250 monks and a monastic college. With the spiritual awakening and enlightenment your day ends at Dhulikhel before heading back to your hotel.
