Anyone with a regular driver's license can drive these fun little carts (minicars), and there's no need to wear a helmet or seat belt. This is a popular attraction among both domestic and international tourists, so enjoy a different kind of Shinjuku sightseeing.
1-hour course: Tour the bustling center of Shinjuku. Driving on a public road with many people coming and going in cosplay costume will make you feel like you're the main character in a story.
- Important Information -
- The following documents are required to drive a cart (miniature car). If you do not have the following documents on the day, you will not be able to participate in the experience. In that case, we will not be able to provide a refund. Thank you for your understanding.
- If you wish to change the time on site because you forgot to bring your driver's license on the day, for example, an additional fee will be charged.
- Height restriction: Only available to those between 150cm and 185cm.

Akiba Kart Shinjuku offers free rental of various cosplay costumes. You are also welcome to bring your own costume. Please refrain from wearing high heels, shoes with wooden soles, or long skirts.
Each cart (miniature car) is limited to one passenger.
If a pregnant passenger wishes to board, we will not offer refunds or accept any liability.
We will need to verify your driver's license details, so please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
