Informations sur le produit

  • DAY 1 – Port Arthur Historic Sites – Tasman Arch – Devil's Kitchen – Checkerboard Rock – Blowhole

Airport pick-up/hotel pick-up and drop-off:

Airport pick-up service: Pick-up service is available on the first day of the tour. Please book a flight arriving in Hobart before 9:00 AM.

City hotel pick-up and drop-off: On the first day of your trip, you can choose between complimentary airport pick-up or complimentary pick-up and drop-off from designated hotels in Hobart city center (Best Western Hotel, Hobart City Apartments, Crowne Plaza Hobart).

If you are not staying at the designated hotel, you will need to go to the designated hotel on your own. Staff will contact you at least one day before departure to reconfirm the meeting time and location.

Port Arthur is a colonial-era prison for convicts, the largest prison in the Southern Hemisphere in the 19th century, and one of Australia's best-preserved prison relics. Its rich history and the beautiful scenery of the Tasman Peninsula make it one of Tasmania's most famous tourist attractions. Almost every visitor to Tasmania makes a point of visiting Port Arthur (admission not included). On the way to Port Arthur Prison, we will also visit four of the Tasman Peninsula's natural wonders: Tasman Arches, Devil's Kitchen, Chessboard Rock, and Blowhole.

  • DAY 2 – Richmond Old Town – Salamanca – Mount Wellington – Oyster Farm – Cherry Picking (Seasonal)

This morning, we'll first drive to Richmond, one of Australia's best-preserved towns. Here, you'll visit Australia's oldest stone arch bridge, built in 1823, and a Catholic church dating back to 1836. The town's old bakeries and dessert shops are also popular with tourists. It was also a filming location for the Hong Kong film "Once Again." Next, we'll visit Salamanca Square. In the afternoon, we'll ascend Mount Wellington (1270 meters above sea level), a superb vantage point offering panoramic views of Hobart and the surrounding sea, a place once visited by President Xi Jinping. We'll also visit Tasmania's famous oyster farm, where you can sample fresh Pacific oysters (optional, at your own expense). During cherry season, we'll also pick and taste Tasmanian cherries (optional, December-January season).

  • DAY 3 – East Coast – Swansea – Cox Bay – Honeymoon Bay – Wineglass Bay

Tasmania's east coast is a dreamlike world. Blue skies, white clouds, colorful waters, and vibrant reefs adorn the coastline, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Wineglass Bay was voted one of the world's top ten beaches by the American travel magazine Outside in 1999. However, Wineglass Bay is nestled among mountains, its beauty hidden from view; visitors must climb to a high vantage point and expend some effort to appreciate its splendor. The tour includes a stop in the beautiful seaside town of Swansea, offering panoramic views of Tasmania's east coast from various angles. (For driving safety, the guide will not accompany you on the hike.)

  • DAY 4 – Cradle Mountain – Lake Daphne – Mural Town

In the morning, depart for Cradle Mountain, located at the northern end of Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. It's a renowned hiking trail and part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. The beautiful Cradle Mountain is serenely reflected in the tranquil waters of Dove Lake, a truly stunning sight and a classic image captured by photographers. On the return journey, pass through the town of Sheffield, where you can admire exquisite murals. Hong Kong pop singer Eason Chan, and Chinese actors Li Chen and Zhang Xinyu have all left their mural works here.

  • DAY 5 – Swiss Cultural Village – Cardnette Gorge – Ross Town – Lavender Farm (Seasonal)

Airport pick-up/drop-off at designated hotel:

Airport transfer service: Airport transfer is provided on the last day of your trip. We recommend booking a flight departing Hobart after 7:35 PM.

Transfer to city hotel: After the tour, you will be transferred to a designated city hotel (Best Western Hotel, Hobart City Apartments, Crowne Plaza Hobart).

Launceston, Tasmania's second-largest city, is a key gateway to northern Tasmania. It boasts numerous Victorian buildings and exudes a historical atmosphere. First, we will drive to the Swiss Village, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the Tamar River. Alternatively, in December-January, we will visit a famous lavender farm (admission not included). After lunch, we will drive to the Cataract Gorge Reserve, just 15 minutes from the city center. There, you'll find a 1904-built suspension bridge across the river, beautiful Victorian gardens, the world's longest single-cable chairlift (optional), and walking trails along the cliffs, where you can also see rare wild peacocks. In the afternoon, we will return to Hobart from Launceston and visit the town of Ross.

(The itinerary order and tour duration may be adjusted due to objective factors such as weather and traffic conditions on the day.)
