- Travelers do not need to apply for island entry themselves after booking.
- Children under 4 years old who do not occupy a seat are only charged for insurance; please provide proof of age and note this in your booking.
- Children under 4 years old who require a seat will be charged at the adult rate.
- Please select your preferred whale watching session when booking to ensure your ferry ticket is reserved.
- Bus seating is unreserved. Please present your exchanged ticket at the Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport Yuanshan Station to receive a queue number and board in order.
- Since Guishan Island limits daily visitors via a lottery system, vouchers for the [Guishan Island Whale Watching + Round-trip Transfer + Island Entry] package will be sent 5 days prior to departure once your entry quota is confirmed. Please note that this itinerary may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling if the lottery is unsuccessful or the island entry quota is reached. We appreciate your understanding.
Reminders
For the Guoguang Passenger Transport [1877 Yuanshan to Wushi Port], you need to queue up on site to pick up the number and get on the bus. On the day, you must arrive at Guoguang Passenger Transport Yuanshan Station "3 hours before the departure time" to collect the envelope and draw the bus number plate.
When collecting the envelope, please collect the bus number plate together with each passenger. When getting on the bus, give the number plate and ticket to the driver.
Please bring your ID card or photo ID on the day. Children must prepare their household register (original) or health insurance card. Foreign travelers are required to bring their passport for inspection by the Hong Kong police.
For the three-in-one package, you must pay the boat operator an additional NT$100 island cleaning fee on the day. The whale watching boat ticket will be provided when you redeem the ticket, so please keep it properly.
If there are holidays or large crowds during whale watching, please adjust the boat operation hours accordingly.
It is recommended to bring binoculars with you on the day, and please take sun protection measures in advance: sunglasses, sunscreen, sun hat, thin long-sleeved jacket (shirt).
People with heart disease, high blood pressure, the elderly, people with limited mobility (except those with accompanying caregivers), and pregnant women over 26 weeks pregnant are not allowed to board the ship.
Please do not feed the whales and dolphins, and listen carefully to the commentator. It is recommended to bring binoculars on the day.
The peak season for whale watching is from April to October every year, but there is still no guarantee that you will be able to see the whales and dolphins. If you fail to watch the whales and dolphins on the day, there will be no refunds.
The trip may be cancelled due to force majeure events such as severe wind and rain or typhoons. The latest notification may be given on the day of departure. Please pay attention to the notifications. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 31 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 21 to 30 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 10% will apply
- For cancellations made 11 to 20 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
- For cancellations made 4 to 10 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 3 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 70% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
