- At the terminal station of the Nihondaira Ropeway, Kunozan Station, lies 'Kunozan Toshogu Shrine,' a strategic location that has flourished as a sacred site for Kannon worship since the 6th century and was even called the 'main citadel of Sunpu Castle' by Tokugawa Ieyasu during the Edo period.
- Kunozan Toshogu Shrine features a 'Gongen-zukuri' style main hall that gathers the essence of Edo-period architectural techniques. It was the final masterpiece of master carpenter Masakiyo Nakai, also known for his work on Nijo Castle and Zojoji Temple, and was completed in 1617. This shrine was designated a National Treasure in 2010. You can enjoy the magnificent and gorgeous National Treasure shrine hall dedicated to Ieyasu, the deep forest, and the soul-cleansing view of Suruga Bay below. *A separate admission fee is required.

- When boarding the ropeway, please exchange your ticket at the counter before boarding.
- Neither Nihondaira Station nor Kunozan Station are wheelchair accessible. Additionally, the grounds of Kunozan Toshogu Shrine also have many stone steps, making it difficult for wheelchair users to enter.
- If you come by car, we have free parking available, but if it is full please use a nearby parking lot.
- The ropeway will be suspended in the event of strong winds of 15m/s or more, an earthquake of magnitude 5 or higher, or bad weather. In such cases, we will not be able to compensate for travel expenses to the site, etc.
- This ticket does not grant priority boarding or shortened waiting times.
- Depending on how busy it is on the day, there may be a waiting time. Please check the website for the congestion situation and congestion forecast for the day.
- Cannot be used in conjunction with other coupons, discounts, etc.
- Please note that we cannot offer refunds after purchase for reasons attributable to the customer.
- Please keep all animals in a cage while inside the carrier. We do not lend out cages, so please bring your own. (Service dogs, guide dogs, etc. are excluded.)
