At Momijidani, a famous spot for autumn leaves in the Sounkyo Onsen hot spring resort area within Daisetsuzan National Park, at the foot of Mt. Daisetsuzan, which is said to have the earliest autumn foliage in Japan, we will be holding a unique light-up event called "Miracle Illumination," which combines the illumination of autumn leaves with digital content.
The digital content incorporates an interactive program where the content changes in response to people's movements as they walk across digital art inspired by Sounkyo Gorge, offering plenty of content for both adults and children to enjoy!
Sounkyo Onsen in autumn can be enjoyed even at night, so please enjoy this event while soaking in the hot springs.

The most popular interactive program is "Forest's Lost Treasures," which projects fallen autumn leaves onto the entire surface of the road. There are also many other contents such as fireworks in Sounkyo, constellations from mythology, fish from the Ishikari River, alpine flower fields of Daisetsuzan, and waterfalls in Sounkyo. As you walk over these contents, the projected images change, entertaining visitors.
