- Ishigaki Yaima Village
Located on a hill overlooking the scenic Nagura Bay, Ishigaki Yaima Village is Japan's southernmost theme park, recreating the traditional, nostalgic streetscapes of the Yaeyama Islands amidst rich nature. The village features a water buffalo pond, a crested serpent eagle sanctuary, and a squirrel monkey park. You can also observe rare flora and fauna on the tour course leading to the Nagura Amparu, which was registered under the Ramsar Convention in 2005. After strolling through the village, take a break at the Nagura Drive-in 'Anparu Cafeteria.' Enjoy delicious local cuisine and shopping.
- Shisa Painting Experience
Paint your own unglazed Shisa statue using quick-drying acrylic paints. The colors and expressions of your original Shisa are entirely up to you! This activity is fun for everyone from small children to adults. Since we use quick-drying acrylic paints, you can take your creation home on the same day. You can choose between a single (either male or female) or a pair (male and female).
