- New York State law requires that all children be restrained in an appropriate child restraint system while riding in a motor vehicle until they are 8 years old. Starting November 1, 2019, all children under 2 years old must ride in a rear-facing car seat.
- Please note that the Maid of the Mist boat cruise operates seasonally, usually between May and October (exact dates are subject to ice conditions), and is replaced in the off-season, depending on accessibility, by views from other observation points such as Gorge Walk, Terrapin Point, or others (access is subject to ice and weather conditions). The day’s itinerary is subject to traffic conditions and may be modified due to time constraints. When necessary in the spring and summer, ponchos are provided (you may get a little wet!). If you’d rather skip the Maid of the Mist boat ride, you can still have a fulfilling experience by using our audio guide, offered in English, Spanish, and Chinese.

- Admission is free for children below 3 years old who do not occupy a seat. The child must sit on the lap of their accompanying adult. Please bring the child's passport for age verification purposes. If you would rather have a separate seat for your infant, you may purchase a child's discounted ticket
- Complying with local laws, children aged under 8 must be secured in an appropriate child restraint system while traveling in a motor vehicle, and all children aged under 2 must travel in a rear-facing safety seat. Please prepare your own car seat. Failure to do so will result in participation decline without refunds
- Please provide an active contact number when booking so we can contact you immediately in the event of an emergency
- Please arrive at the designated meeting point 10–15 minutes before the meeting time as the bus will depart on time. Refunds will not be granted to late arrivals
- Refunds or compensation will not be granted to travelers who leave the tour halfway through or miss the entire tour due to personal reasons (e.g. lack of travel documents, late arrival, sickness, accidents)
- The return time is subject to change depending on traffic conditions. Please refrain from arranging activities and flights other than this tour to avoid delays
