- Hotel Introduction -

Aomoriya recreates the original scenery of Aomori. Just like the daily life of Aomori people who have lived closely with horses since ancient times, you can take a horse-drawn carriage ride through paths lined with traditional folk houses. Everywhere you look, you can see the lively atmosphere of ancient festivals and traditional crafts woven from life in the snow country. Please feel the sincere hospitality of the gentle and shy Aomori people and experience this nostalgic paradise.

1. A fiery Nebuta Festival 365 days a year

  • The Aomori Nebuta Festival is one of Japan's iconic fire festivals. With festival decorations everywhere, Aomoriya is colorful and brilliant 365 days a year, making your heart race just by walking through it. Coupled with the melodious flutes and strings and the rhythmic beating of taiko drums in the festival music, you will feel as if you are right in the middle of the real Nebuta Festival.

2. The warmth of Aomori

  • The countryside time in Aomori is a peaceful moment found in the gentle smiles of KATCHA (meaning 'mother' in the Aomori dialect). After fully experiencing the various joys of Aomori, such as Nanbu Sakiori and Tsugaru-nuri, please enjoy the local cuisine carefully prepared by KATCHA that warms both your body and soul.

3. A morning waking up to the fragrance of cypress

  • Aomori still preserves the 'Asayu' (morning bath) culture. After waking up in the morning, soak in the indoor bath filled with the fragrance of Aomori cypress, or head to the open-air hot spring that floats on the pond, offering stunning views of shimmering water and greenery. If you go for a walk, there is also a foot bath where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the hotel grounds, allowing you to fully enjoy the ultimate hot spring experience in Aomori.
