Product Info

  • Experience three different aspects of Japanese culture that are still alive today. First, we will visit 'Nakadai Seisakusho,' an active workshop that produces and restores mikoshi. We will visit the site where skilled craftsmen make and restore mikoshi carried in local festivals. Through mikoshi, you will learn how craftsmanship, Shinto, and local life are connected. Next, we will visit the 'Chiba Tea Ceremony Hall,' where active tea masters gather and learn. In a traditional tea room, you will touch upon the quiet spirit of Japanese hospitality while enjoying matcha and Japanese sweets. Finally, we will have lunch at 'Ramen Ristorante Tadokoro Shoten Premium,' a miso ramen specialty shop originating in Chiba. Through miso, which has a long tradition of fermentation, we will connect the day's craftsmanship and cultural experience to everyday Japanese food culture.
