Your tour begins at the harbor of Saint Jean de Luz, where you will learn about the history of whaling, privateers, the witch hunt, the Kaskarots, and fishing activities past and present. You will then admire the Maison de l'Infante before observing the Basque houses and their traditional architecture.

The walk continues along the coastline to understand the unique relationship between Saint-Jean-de-Luz and the ocean, the history of the dikes, the storms that have left their mark on the city, and the evolution of its waterfront.

You will then head to the historic heart of the city to discover the oldest house in the city, which survived the Great Fire, then the "Maison Louis XIV" and the famous "Maison Adam", intimately linked to the marriage of the "Sun King" to the Infanta of Spain.

The tour ends in the Saint John the Baptist Church, where you will discover its remarkable heritage, its architecture, and the traditions surrounding this iconic place in the history of Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
