Climb aboard a comfortable electric van in Sarlat and take a 1-hour trip through the majestic landscapes of the Dordogne Valley. Stop along the way to take photos of the stunning scenery.

Arrive in Rocamadour, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in France, built against a cliff face in the heart of the Alzou canyon, a thousand-year-old historic UNESCO site. During a guided tour, learn about the legends at the origin of this sacred place.

Walk down the cross trail (lift on the way back) and admire the miraculous chapel and its black virgin, the sarcophagus of St. Amadour dug into the rock of the cliff, and the legendary sword Durandal.

After a lunch break in a restaurant with a fantastic panoramic view over Rocamadour (according to availability - meal not included), drive south through the majestic landscapes of the Causses du Lot to reach Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, another of France’s most beautiful medieval villages.

Perched on a cliff overlooking a bend in the Lot River, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie is a masterpiece of the medieval era. Dominated by the fortified church, the houses with their steep roofs covered with brown tiles reveal their harmonious volumes as they wind through the picturesque alleyways. Enjoy this fairy tale village at your own rhythm with a self-guided tour.
