Meet your guide, Douglas Kline, on the sidewalk in front of a historic brick former firehall in St. Paul and get oriented with the basics of Fitzgerald's kinetic life. From there, we'll make our way along the sidewalks of a collection of leafy residential streets while seeing Fitzgerald's many homes and hangouts.

We'll pause in parks where Fitzgerald played, see his former school building, and view the private social club that Fitzgerald was not allowed to join. And you'll hear surprising details about the author's boyhood in St. Paul plus his fame later as an adult.

While we walk, you'll learn about Fitzgerald's lively life and the Roaring '20s, and hear anecdotes about his hometown shenanigans. In addition, during our stroll, you'll spot many types of popular Gilded Age Victorian home styles in this historically preserved area.

Tour duration is 2 hours and we'll walk about 2 miles with many stops for commentary. The tour ends at the starting point.
