Meet your guide, Lui, a fourth-generation Portuguese descendant born and raised on the island of Oʻahu. With deep roots in the Hawaiian sugar industry and a family history tied to Pearl Harbor, Lui brings a unique perspective to your tour.

Growing up along the shores of Pearl Harbor, Lui developed a lifelong fascination with World War II Pacific history and the unique heritage of the island. After serving as a submariner in the U.S. Navy, Lui went on to earn a degree in U.S. History with a focus on the Pacific region.

Hear firsthand stories passed down through generations, including accounts of the December 7, 1941, attack, as told by Lui's grandfather who was on base that day.
