Información del producto

Begin your tour by meeting in a sunlit patio where the neighborhood gathers. After our first bite from a decades-old bakery, we set off to experience curated flavors that are designed flow into the next. We move from a croissant to a smoothie, then into cheese. An in-between truffle melts the way to our final stop with a pizza slice made from local grains. This tour was designed with several owners on our tour to build community and let their care come through.

As you walk, hear about the history of Hyde Park, Austin's first suburb. This suburb was the first to have an electric trolley line with horses as the main competition, and before it was a neighborhood the area hosted the state fair. We will also visit the Elisabet Ney museum.

This tour is designed to get away from the noise of downtown and to be a relaxed, sensory-friendly experience with only eight spots available. After being a guide with another company, I realized guests were often overwhelmed by the traffic and constant street noise of downtown and South Congress. I felt it too. I created this tour because I love people and find a deep joy in sharing Austin with others. This number allows us to easily enjoy the spaces with a full experience for each person.
