Información del producto

Begin your journey at the Santa Maria della Pietà, a Baroque church famous for its connection to the composer Antonio Vivaldi, who worked here and composed music for the orphan girls of the adjacent institution.

From here, enjoy a scenic walk along the waterfront promenade of Riva degli Schiavoni, one of the most panoramic areas in Venice. The view opens onto the lagoon, with boats gently passing by, leading you toward the historic Venetian Arsenal, the powerful shipbuilding center that once made Venice a dominant maritime republic.

Continue into a quieter residential area and reach the San Martino, a peaceful church that preserves a sense of local authenticity away from the crowds. Nearby is the remarkable Scuola Dalmata dei Santi Giorgio e Trifone, a small but extraordinary confraternity building known for its stunning cycle of paintings by Vittore Carpaccio, depicting vivid scenes of saints and legends.

As you wander through the narrow calli, pass under the charming Sotoportego de la Pietra Rossa, a hidden passage that reflects the mysterious and intimate character of Venice’s urban layout.

The route continues to the majestic San Francesco della Vigna, a Renaissance masterpiece designed in part by Jacopo Sansovino and later completed with a façade by Andrea Palladio. Its harmonious architecture and serene cloister offer a moment of quiet reflection.

Conclude your walk in the impressive Campo San Giovanni e Paolo, one of the largest and most monumental squares in Venice. Dominated by the grand Basilica and surrounded by historic buildings, it perfectly captures the grandeur and spiritual heart of the city.
