Your journey begins in Krakow with either hotel pickup or a meeting point in the city center. The drive to Oswiecim takes around 70 minutes. After arriving at Auschwitz I, join your licensed museum guide for a guided visit of the historic site and permanent exhibitions.

At Auschwitz I, see the preserved brick barracks, the former prisoner blocks, the Death Wall and other parts of the original camp. You will also pass through the famous “Arbeit macht frei” gate and learn about the history and personal stories of the people imprisoned here.

After visiting Auschwitz I, travel by vehicle to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, located around 3 kilometers away. Explore the railway ramp, historic barracks, remains of the crematoria and the International Monument to the Victims. The Birkenau section is largely outdoors and involves walking across uneven historic ground.

The guided visit covers both Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. Museum admission, the licensed guide, transportation between the two sites and return transport to Krakow are included in your booking.

Allow approximately 3–4 kilometers of walking during the visit. Birkenau is an open-air site, so comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
