Product Info

Step into the heart of the wild frontier and witness one of Europe’s most iconic predators in its natural habitat – the brown bear (Ursus arctos). On this unforgettable overnight tour, you’ll head deep into the untouched taiga forest to watch and photograph wild brown bears, eagles, and other wild creatures and spend a magical night observing them — all from the comfort and safety of a professional wildlife hide. Our place is situated in the remote, natural habitat of the brown bears.

The wildlife here is truly wild and free-roaming — sightings are 99% likely but not guaranteed. However, we have the Bear Guarantee: if you don’t see any, you can come back for free until you do!

The overnight tour begins at the meeting point (a parking lot, which you can reach by any car or bike), where you’ll meet our guides, who will escort you safely to the viewing hides via short forest paths. The walking distances are approx. 300–500 meters. Our main hide building is also wheelchair accessible.

Our professional guide(s) will accompany you at the hides and provide insightful information about the bears and the taiga environment throughout the evening, until 10 p.m. After that, our guides will leave, and you will spend the night independently inside the viewing hide until 8 a.m. the next morning. Our guides will provide you with all the necessary instructions for a safe and enjoyable night.

In the morning, our guides will either come to pick you up and escort you back to the parking lot, or you can also depart independently if you wish. You can arrange the mode of leaving with our guide during the evening. The duration of the overnight tour is from 6 PM to 8 AM the following morning.

We offer seven cozy wooden hides, purposefully built for comfortable wildlife watching and nature photography, with photo openings, bean bags, and/or video/ball heads to support your cameras. Our hides are also equipped with:

• Binoculars
• Large panoramic windows for uninterrupted views
• Close viewing access to a beautiful swamp pond, ideal for stunning reflections in your photos
• Eco-friendly dry toilets
• Our main hide is also equipped with a gas heater and a gas cooker, and it is wheelchair-friendly
• Four of our log hides also have built-in beds with all beddings included for a comfortable night

Why Choose Us?
• Over 20 years of experience in bear watching and photography tours
• Ethical and respectful wildlife observation practices: We're the pioneer of responsible bear watching in Finland
• Professional guides have deep knowledge of animal behavior and the taiga ecosystem
• The Bear Guarantee: We have a 99% chance of seeing the bears. However, if you don’t see any, you can come back for free!

We are open every day from May to September. The overnight tour starts at 6 PM and ends at 8 a.m. the following morning. Later in the autumn, we will start the tour earlier than 6 p.m., as the amount of light decreases, and the sunset time becomes earlier.
