Experience three days of adventure in Cerro Castillo with a private multi-activity program combining trekking, rafting, and rock climbing in one of the most spectacular areas of Chilean Patagonia.
Designed as a private experience, the program follows a defined 3-day itinerary while allowing limited flexibility for participants who may not feel comfortable with one of the scheduled activities.
Day 1 – Laguna Cerro Castillo Trek
Begin with a guided full-day trek to Laguna Cerro Castillo, one of the most iconic mountain landscapes in Chilean Patagonia. Hike through Patagonian forest and mountain terrain toward the glacial lagoon located beneath the dramatic walls of Cerro Castillo.
The trekking day lasts approximately 7–8 hours, depending on the group's pace and trail conditions.
Day 2 – Rafting Experience
Enjoy a guided rafting experience in the Cerro Castillo and Río Ibáñez area. The activity includes transportation from Villa Cerro Castillo, safety briefing, technical equipment, and guided river time before returning to the village.
The rafting experience lasts approximately 6 hours, including preparation, transportation, and river time.
Day 3 – Rock Climbing Experience
Spend the final day enjoying a guided rock climbing experience on natural rock in the Cerro Castillo area. Routes are selected according to the participants' previous experience and comfort level, making the activity suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers.
The rock climbing experience lasts approximately 6 hours, including preparation, equipment fitting, instruction, climbing time, and local transportation.
Because this is a private experience, some flexibility is possible. If a participant is not comfortable taking part in one of the scheduled activities, one activity may be replaced by a guided horseback riding experience or an additional guided trek. Any substitution is subject to weather, safety, and operational conditions and does not involve an additional fee.
For example, the standard trekking, rafting, and rock climbing itinerary could be adapted to include two trekking days and one rock climbing day, or to replace rafting or climbing with horseback riding when appropriate for the group.
The standard itinerary remains the Laguna Cerro Castillo trek, rafting, and rock climbing experience described above.
Guiding, technical equipment required for the included activities, local transportation required during the program, and activity entrance fees are included in the activity price.
Accommodation is not included in this activity. Travelers should arrange their own accommodation in Villa Cerro Castillo.
The program may require minor adjustments to starting times or the order of activities due to weather, river conditions, trail access, or other safety considerations.
