Take an unforgettable reindeer sled journey through snow-covered landscapes with a chance to see the Northern Lights, learn about Norway’s Sámi culture, and enjoy a traditional warm meal on a guided excursion from Tromsø.

Meet the gentle reindeer, the true icon of the Arctic, and jump aboard the sled, which takes place as a "raid" where each reindeer and sled are bound together in a long row with the lead reindeer in the front.

Learn about the indigenous Sámi people from your Sámi guide. Get to know their past, present, and future history; see Sámi artifacts; and hear traditional stories.

Enjoy a warm Sámi traditional meal called Bidos and have some drinks to get warmed up. If you are lucky, you will have the chance to spot the natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights.

If the weather does not allow us to run the sled ride at all, we will offer you a partial refund and the rest of the tour will be held as normal. If sledding cancellation happens before the tour starts you will be offered the possibility to cancel the activity completely and receive a full refund

  • Know Before You Go: The sled ride has a strict weight limit to ensure our reindeer stay safe and healthy
