From Tromso: Arctic Wilderness Snowmobile Daytime Tour｜Norway

Head out from Tromsø on a guided Arctic snowmobile tour into the stunning Lyngen Alps. Experience the raw winter wilderness of Northern Norway and try snowmobiling in a safe, beginner-friendly setting.

You’ll take a bus from the city centre to the countryside. Upon arrival, you’ll be fitted with warm winter clothing and given a thorough safety briefing and practical introduction to snowmobiling by your licensed snowmobile guide.

Once ready, hop on your snowmobile and follow a scenic trail through snow-covered valleys and mountains. Along the way, you’ll make stops to take photos, enjoy the landscape, and play in the snow. Snowmobiles are shared by two people, with one driver and one passenger, and you’ll have the chance to switch drivers during the tour. You will get between 1.5 and 2 hours on the snowmobile.

This is a beginner-level tour, with speeds adjusted to the group and conditions, typically around 30 km/h.

After the ride, warm up with a traditional hot meal before heading back to Tromsø.
