Información del producto

Each evening we leave Svolvær and head into the Lofoten Islands in search of clear skies. The route is never fixed — your guide studies the weather, cloud coverage, and local conditions to decide where the chances of seeing the Northern Lights are best.

Travel in a small group in a comfortable Bravo heated minibus/bus, allowing flexibility to change direction when needed. We may drive along fjords, coastal roads, or toward open ocean horizons to escape clouds and artificial light. The goal is always the same: darkness, clear sky, and space to experience the aurora in nature.

During the evening your guide shares stories about life in Arctic Norway, local culture, and the science behind the Northern Lights. When conditions allow, we stop at carefully chosen locations where you can step outside, take photos, and simply enjoy the silence of the surrounding landscape.

Warm drinks are served while waiting for the lights, helping you stay comfortable in the winter temperatures.

Because the aurora is a natural phenomenon, sightings can never be guaranteed — but the flexible route and local knowledge maximize the chances of experiencing this unique Arctic event.
The tour starts in Svolvær with pickup from selected accommodations or a central meeting point in the town center. The exact pickup time is confirmed after booking depending on route planning and weather conditions. The activity normally lasts around 4–5 hours but may vary slightly depending on driving distance and aurora activity.

Please dress warmly with winter clothing, hat, gloves and suitable footwear. The guide will advise you during the evening and help you find comfortable viewing locations.

The tour ends back in Svolvær after the Northern Lights search is completed.
